Demons
According to Catholics, demons are evil incorporeal spirits in the service of Satan. Before an exorcism can take place, Church officials must verify that the case is indeed a demonic possession, similarly to how they verify miracles. Such signs might include: strange voices, the ability to speak languages unknown to the subject, knowledge seemingly derived by psychic means, and abnormal strength.
Paranormal researcher Paul Eno, while training to be a priest, participated in a handful of exorcisms in the 1970s, as he relates in his 2019 book Dancing Past the Graveyard (which will be quoted repeatedly below). During the process, he became disillusioned with both the orthodox explanation of demons and the ritual of exorcism. As he came to see it, “the demons we were fighting weren’t spirits at all, but perfectly physical, alien life forms that live by feeding off the energy of other life forms—us among them.” He calls these beings parasites.
As Nick Redfern writes in the introduction to Eno’s book: “deceptive beings masquerade as the spirits of dead friends and relatives. Those same things will tell you exactly what they think you want to hear, as they seek to get their claws into you. Bizarre runs of bad luck, collapsing families, divorce, and lives wrecked are some of the typical issues that Paul has to deal with as he helps those who were unfortunate enough to encounter the others.”
Eno classifies parasites into nine “species”:
the wise (ancient, solitary, and cunning)
elders (like the wise, but more likely to lead or operate in groups)
farmers (unobtrusive groups who feed on human families, tribes, and communities, mostly unnoticed)
pack hunters (aggressive, mobile, can become poltergeists or bond with a host resulting in possession)
rogues (lone hunters, frequent guests at seances, often confined to a geographic area)
passives (subservient to superior species, particularly elders, feed on “crumbs”)
lost (communicative attachments who have forgotten their own origins or identities, sometimes apologetic about their nature)
tricksters (simple but clever, often appearing in the guise of “enlightened masters,” “space brothers,” or “false spirit guides”)
brats (bond and feed one on one, terrified of losing their host)
He writes: “I’ve seen indications that many parasites not only are organized but have a social structure, with clear leaders, and perhaps even a culture. There seem to be male and female genders. Most seem extremely long-lived.”
Some other interesting features he has come to associate with these parasites include: they tend not to operate in public places, because there is “nobody for them to attach to—people in places like that always are coming and going”; in 40% of his cases, “a little blonde girl, or some other innocent character, pops up at some point, usually in the early stages”; the longer they are “attached” to a host, the more likely they are to forget about where they come from; they feed on recognition and attention; it seems some law limits the extent of their influence – they “don’t have carte blanche to feed wherever and whenever they please.” On the link between hauntings and parasites, he writes: “we have found parasites active in only about 65 percent of haunted houses and wilderness areas. That percentage tends to be roughly 10 percent higher in ‘flap areas,’ regions of unusually high paranormal activity of all kinds.”
The Cassiopaean material contains the following on demonic entities:

Q: (L) Do demons and evil spirits fear anything?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) Do they fear any power that we, as humans, possess?
A: Yes. Knowledge.
Q: (L) Do they fear religious symbols, signs or figures?
A: No.
Eno writes:
In my experience, the actual exorcism prayers are the points at which things can really explode. In ensuing years, I came to believe that this confrontational, “authoritative” and almost-mocking litany of commands simply stirs up the priest, especially an inexperienced one, and the assistants. This allows the demon, which is actually no such thing in the classical sense, to feed on their negative energy and to gain strength. The resulting antics can freak out the humans, who only put out more energy to be eaten by the “possessing” creature or creatures, who couldn’t care less about our religious beliefs.
In my experience, exorcised or not, parasites that aren’t afraid to leave their hosts do so only when they’re good and ready, almost always when they’ve had enough to eat. If it serves their purpose after an exorcism, they will lie low, making the exorcist and others believe they’re gone.
Q: (L) Is there any name or sign or symbol that can halt their activity?
A: Sometimes.
Q: (L) Were they afraid of Christ?
A: Yes. Because of his knowledge. The mass of his knowledge raised his vibrations. Knowledge is truly power.
Q: (L) Do pentagrams have any effect in slowing down or halting negative entities?
A: Only if you think they do.
Q: (L) Is the greatest power we have to resist demonic entities held in our free will, our power to say no?
A: No.
Q: (L) What is our greatest power?
A: Knowledge.
Q: (L) Does the accumulation of spiritual knowledge hold the key?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) Is there any other clue you can give us?
A: You do not need anything else than knowledge.

Q: (L) I discovered the name Nibiru in a list of demonic names. What is the origin of this name?
A: Dark teacher.
In reference to black magic, Ra stated in the Law of One: “The Orion group has aided the so-called negatively oriented among [humanity]. These same entities would be concerning themselves with service to self in any case and there are many upon your so-called inner planes which are negatively oriented and thus available as inner teachers or guides and so-called possessors of certain souls who seek this distortion of service to self.” They also referred to “dark angels,” “negative entities” of the inner planes who offer temptations to those on the STO path.

Q: (L) In the Ann Haywood case which is supposed to be a case of demonic possession or obsession, who or what are the beings that are afflicting this woman and her family?
A: 3rd-density section-“B” energy anomalies same as “poltergeist.”

Q: (L) OK, I would like to know, recently I watched a video [made and presented by Henry Belk] at Jiles Hamilton’s on psychic surgery. This, obviously, was the real thing. Am I correct in that assessment?
A: No.
Q: (L) No?! What was happening?
A: Fakery and “demonic” influences to delusion, now, strict warning: avoid at all cost!!
Q: (L) Avoid what at all cost, psychic surgery?
A: Yes.

Q: (L) Bubbles had a dream. (Bubbles) Oh yeah. What was that thing – like a demon – that appeared and I was talking to it and it said it lived in “Never-never land” and was “sustained by children”? That it got its sustenance from children?
A: That was the way your mind expressed the psychic perception of the energies surrounding Sue due to her special status.
Q: (Bubbles) Oh. So, did they bring anything with them when they came? (L) I think they’re saying that you were perceiving something and your mind interpreted it as demonic… Well, maybe I better not assume: was there anything truly otherworldly or demonic involved there?
A: A little.
Q: (Andromeda) What about all the high strangeness that we experienced at the time they left the U.S. to come here, the power failure, Bubbles’s computer going dead, and then all the other craziness that was happening, like Mom’s fall, the camera breaking, everybody except Sue getting sick, the faucet in the kitchen breaking when she was scrubbing it and maybe a couple things I forgot?
A: Due to that “little”.

Q: (Treesparrow) What’s the cause or causes behind the recent rise in strange and abnormal animal behavior? […]
A: EM frequency changes affecting DNA and neurochemistry. Also these factors can affect spiritual factors in the animal kingdom. One additional note is advised: Creatures can act as hosts or receptacles for “spirit entities”.
Q: (L) So, if there’s a demon out there that has it in for somebody, they can use an animal to attack that person. Is that kind of it?
A: Close.
See the note in the collection on portals.

Q: (hesperides) When psychopaths die, do they reincarnate again?
A: No
Q: (hesperides) Do psychopaths automatically disintegrate through the 2nd death process?
A: Not exactly. A crystallized psychopath can become something akin to a demon.
Possession
For Eno, while a parasite who has drawn enough energy from a host can become a poltergeist, one who progressively bonds with its host can come to possess it. He believes there is always an element of tacit agreement from the host in such cases, describing one disturbing road to possession, “where a parasite develops a deeply personal relationship with its host. […] Hosts experience intimate, vampire-like encounters with parasites, with which they often develop codependent or even erotic relationships.” (Recall the poltergeistal “hag.”) In his experience, “the most frequent host is the weak, vulnerable, insecure person with a history of being abused or otherwise victimized. […] The other most frequent parasite prey in these cases is the person who seeks power over others through the occult. […] he or she usually ends up being controlled, or at least harmed mentally and spiritually.”

Q: (L) Was Adolf Hitler possessed by demons or evil spirits? [After reading several biographies of Adolf Hitler, there were several incidents in his life that stood out in Laura’s mind as having been potential points of possession by evil spirits in the terms described by Dr. William Baldwin in his 1993 book Spirit Releasement Therapy. One of these incidents was the fact that a brother of Hitler died when he was a child, and this was noted as a point in which his entire personality changed. His family home was next to a graveyard, and he was known to spend much time sitting on the wall, staring at the tombstones. Such morbidity in a young child is often precursor behavior for possession. Norman Mailer later wrote a novel based on the same idea: The Castle in the Forest (2007). See Wikipedia for a partial list of others who have thought the same.]
A: Close.
Q: (L) Was Adolf Hitler under the control of the negatively oriented aliens?
A: Close.
One of the sources used by some researchers to support this idea is the book Hitler Speaks (1939) by Hermann Rauschning, a German politician who left the country in 1936 after denouncing Nazism. While the authenticity of the conversations recorded has been disputed, claims that they are complete fiction seem weaker than their advocates would argue. Rauschning wrote:
This woman friend expressed in her way what everyone who came into touch with Hitler was bound to feel: Hitler was abandoning himself to forces which were carrying him away—forces of dark and destructive violence. He imagined that he still had freedom of choice, but he had long been in bondage to a magic which might well have been described, not only in metaphor but in literal fact, as that of evil spirits. And instead of a man emerging step by step from the obscurity of his youth, and freeing himself from its dross in his upward course, we witnessed the development of a man possessed, the helpless prey of the powers of darkness.
There is an instructive parallel—mediums. Most of these are ordinary, undistinguished persons; yet suddenly they acquire gifts that carry them far above the common crowd. These qualities have nothing to do with the medium’s own personality. They are conveyed to him from without. The medium is possessed by them. He, himself, however, is uninfluenced by them. In the same way undeniable powers enter into Hitler, genuinely daemonic powers, which make men his instruments. The common united with the uncommon — that is what makes Hitler’s personality so desperate a puzzle to those who come into contact with him.
Q: (L) Where is Adolf Hitler now?
A: Sleeping. […]
In the Law of One (1981), Ra said this about Hitler: “The [one] known [as] Adolf is at this time in an healing process in the middle astral planes of your spherical force field. This entity was greatly confused and, although aware of the circumstance of change in vibratory level associated with the cessation of the chemical body complex, nevertheless, needed a great deal of care.”
Q: (L) Do [4D STS] utilize such things as possession by dark energy forms to effect their control?
A: Yes.
As Eno observes: “five of the seven people Fr. Lawrence exorcised at St. Lawrence State Hospital reported such [UFO] sightings and [alien] encounters in the years leading up to their ‘possessions.’ These included the classic gray alien figures in their bedrooms at night, along with possible abduction experiences.”
December 3, 1994
Q: (L) I received an article from Piers about experiments by a fellow named Persinger who has been trying to duplicate the “abduction” experience by subjecting people to EM fields in a sensory deprivation chamber. […] Could they be subjected to spirit or demonic possession by this method?
A: Yes.
See Susan Blackmore, “Alien Abduction: The Inside Story,” in New Scientist (November 19, 1994).

A: Interference from blossomer nearby.
Q: (L) Do you mean right now?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) [Child was discovered nearby, sent to bed.] What kind of interference do you get from a “blossomer,” as you call them?
A: Soul discharges caused by efforts made by influences attracted by channel attempting to take over body of child in order to experience sensation of total euphoria!!
Q: (L) So, as a general rule, is this euphoria produced by watching television?
A: Can be enhanced. Warning!! Littlest one is most susceptible to total possession by extremely STS-oriented forces during sessions, and must be kept away at all costs!!!! There have been instances where perceived health disturbances by this one and others have been, in reality, up to 30 percent possession! Lungs are the “weak link,” and it is your psychic abilities that have caused the troubles in the past.
As noted elsewhere, channeling activities can “blast open” windows, leading to all sorts of paranormal phenomena and potentially putting at risk those who are unaware or unprepared. Eno, too, highlights the dangers of casual use of the Ouija board or seances to “contact the dead,” which often just attract tricksters. He calls such activities “multiversal dynamite that can blow holes in branes [dimensional boundaries] and attract big trouble.”

Q: (M) So, what am I supposed to do with this? Can the portal assist in any way, this thing in the aura? Will it do me any good? I mean, what’s it for, anyway?
A: It can assist you in becoming possessed.
For more on the questioner, M, and her “portal,” see chapters 18 and 19 of Laura’s The Wave here and here.

Q: (Perceval) Is someone without an emotional center [e.g., a psychopath or schizoid] very susceptible to being possessed or “walked into”?
A: No. What self-respecting “spook” would want to eat at a restaurant that serves food made of air? Like stone soup before the neighbors came.
Eno writes: “Parasites seem to be very good at finding food sources. […] their livelihood is gained entirely by riding or reaching from world to world to feed upon the likes of us […] But precisely what are they ‘eating’? Apparently, some sort of negative energy produced by humans. All I know is that they thrive on whatever energy we put out when we’re divided, stressed, frightened, angry, and full of hate. When we’re united, calm, happy, and full of love, parasites not only lose their food supply, most seem repelled.”

Q: (L) Can multiple personality disorder or dissociative identity disorder be induced in a souled individual or one who is potentially souled?
A: Yes, but it is extremely difficult. […]
Q: (L) Can some cases of multiple personalities be just simply cases of possession?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) Could some cases of multiple personalities be where more than one spirit essence resides in the same body?
A: Can be.
Q: (L) So if it’s a case of possession acting as MPD, then it would be with a souled person, is that correct?
A: Yes.
Q: (Ark) Can these possessions also be divided into souled and non-souled?
A: Not usually.
Q: (A***) Are some cases caused be extreme trauma or… (L) They already said that was very rare, very difficult.
A: Yes, as you are thinking, but again, it is difficult and rare.
May 30, 2009
A: People need to know about pathology as you call it. In former times it was often referred to as demonic possession. In some cases, they were right.
Q: (L) But clearly not in all cases, and that needs to made absolutely clear because there are some people who are just sick.
A: Yes. Hyperdimensional influences are often the cause of pathology. This can be due to influences at this level of reality including dietary and nurture.
Paul Eno shares a similar view, writing: “I began to realize that mental illness, addictions, and behavioral problems can be intertwined with paranormal ‘oppressions,’ ‘obsessions,’ and ‘possessions.’”

Q: (Pierre) On this line, the RNA in the vaccine code is for a protein very similar to syncytin. Mis-expression of this protein syncytin leads to disorders like schizophrenia that are considered by some researchers as possession. So my question is: Can the vaccine in some cases increase the incidence of actual possession?
A: Oh indeed!!

Q: (MK Scarlett) A teenager fatally stabbed his teacher on February 22 in France with a single “quick, fluid and unhesitating” stab. According to the prosecutor, the 16-year-old student, described as “intelligent and hard-working” as well as “solitary and clumsy”, said he was possessed and evoked “a small voice that spoke to him, a being he described as selfish, manipulative, egocentric, who incited him to do evil and who would have suggested to him the day before to murder his Spanish teacher”. Is this voice real?
A: Yes.
Q: (MK Scarlett) And is the teenager under the influence of a malevolent psychic entity?
A: Yes.
Q: (MK Scarlett) If yes: The young man had tried to kill himself with drugs in October 2022 (he had been hearing the voice for several years and had told his mother about it) before being followed by a psychiatrist who had placed him on antidepressants. Did this suicide attempt cause the entity to punish the teenager by having him commit a murder, which could send him to prison/a psychiatric hospital for a long time, leaving him under the domination of this entity?
A: Yes.
Exorcism
Most cultures have practiced exorcism. Eno calls it “a defensive response to the primal human perception that some kind of non-human life form threatens our species.” Readers are probably most familiar with the Catholic version, a sequence of prayers, invocations, and blessings designed to free the host from its possessor. But is it actually effective? Eno thought probably not, in most cases. In reference to the exorcism described in Dancing Past the Graveyard, he wrote:
I couldn’t shake the nagging suspicion that Chall [the name of one such “demon”], if that was its name at all, was just toying with us, pushing our “buttons” and getting stronger. It was feeding off the whole process as we reacted to its antics by pumping out energy through shock, anger, or fear.

Q: (L) On Tuesday night, I did a spirit release on a fellow named VM. It seemed to get a little rough. What type of entity were we dealing with?
A: STS.
Q: (L) What density level?
A: Fifth.
The audio recording of this spirit-release-turned-exorcism is included below:
Part 1 (transcript)
Part 2 (transcript)
In a 1982 session of the Law of One, Ra described a fifth-density negative entity which had focused its attention on the L/L Research group and seems to match somewhat Eno’s description of “the wise” parasite:
The environment of your companion is that of the rock, the cave, the place of barrenness, for this is the density of wisdom. That which is needed may be thought and received. To this entity very little is necessary upon the physical […] Such an entity spends its consciousness within the realms of time/space in an attempt to learn the ways of wisdom through the utmost use of the powers and resources of the self. […]
The relationship of such an entity to fourth-density negative entities is one of the more powerful and the less powerful. The negative path posits slavery of the less powerful as a means of learning the desire to serve the self to the extent that the will is brought to bear. It is in this way that polarity is increased in the negative sense. Thus fourth-density entities are willing slaves of such a fifth-density entity, there being no doubt whatsoever of the relative power of each.
Eno writes of the wise:
They give the impression of knowing our species far better than we do. They are conversant in most, if not all, human languages and have great telepathic power. They tend to live and hunt alone. Like huge, invisible spiders, they often quietly park themselves in a place or time where they have access to a certain house or tract of land for centuries, picking up what knowledge they can and feeding on whoever comes along. I have found them to be arrogant, brilliant, and extremely calculating. At the same time, once they know that you know what they really are, I’ve found them surprisingly willing to communicate in a smug and not-to-be-trusted manner.
On the subject of the parasitic social hierarchy, one rogue told Eno (on one of the few occasions in which he attempted to communicate): “like you, I must eat. And the olders [that’s what it sounded like] dominate with cruelty, feeding on what I do not.”

Q: (L) Is it true that recitation of mantras can effect spirit release or exorcism?
A: If you please.
Q: (L) Last week, the remark was made, regarding spirit release and exorcism, that if it is done properly, by the right person, that there is no side effects or eventualities that would bring detrimental conditions to the individuals and location involved. What was meant by “done correctly”? What is the correct format or mode for exorcism?
A: Correct manner involves honesty and understanding that one has complete faith and awareness of the activities pursued. In other words, when one performs an act which they proclaim to be having a desired result, and they do not have faith in their own actions as, in fact, producing the desired result, then the effort will collapse because of their lack of faith. Whereas when one has complete faith and multi-density understanding, their activities are indeed truth and useful as prescribed and this is the correct way to pursue them.
Q: (L) Isn’t faith a difficult commodity to acquire?
A: Not at all. When you have found something of truth you will receive demonstrations which locks in your faith.
Q: (L) I see. What is the criteria for the “correct person” to be performing exorcism or spirit release?
A: The same as the previous answer.

Q: (Scottie) I recently read Hostage to the Devil by Malachi Martin. I posted on the forum about it. A short discussion ensued, and several people asked basically what’s the deal with Catholic priests doing an exorcism and they invoke Jesus, blah blah blah. So, many of us were wondering how that works. We kind of know that the story that Catholics believe about Jesus is not exactly true. It’s a lie. So, I’m having a hard time reconciling this whole “invoking Christ” thing with the fact that entities seem to get in the door when you’re lying to yourself about something. So, that’s how they get in, but then a Catholic exorcist is technically believing a lie if they’re invoking the name of Jesus, and the entities are pretty smart, right? So… (Perceval) Why would it be effective?
A: Intent combined with being and willingness to do good can often produce effects even when knowledge is absent.
This may relate to the statement further above that, while demons do not fear religious symbols, signs or figures, such things may “sometimes” halt their activity. In such cases, the faith and strength of the exorcist may be effective, empowering their words and symbols. But there is not necessarily anything inherently effective about those rituals. As Eno observed, two thirds of the recipients eventually relapsed into mental or physical illness. One died of a drug overdoes within three years.
Q: (Perceval) That’s what I was thinking. They may believe that Barney the Purple Dinosaur is going to get rid of the demon, but they themselves are fighting for it, ya know? So they’re putting their own energy into it. Whatever they believe in, it’s they that are putting the energy and will into it to try to effect a change.
(L) Well, it reminds me about that story Terry told about the barfly guy. It was like something rose up inside him, and he confronted this individual and said, “We don’t have a problem here, do we?” And it was like “BEing” inside him – even though he didn’t have any real knowledge about who or what the guy was, or any of the other stuff that came out later – it was like his awareness that there was something at another level operating there was kind of the awareness that was being looked for. I guess if you’re in an exorcism situation, the very fact that you have the minimal awareness that you’re dealing with “something” that’s non-corporeal and cannot be seen is already more awareness than most people have! (Perceval) So that means you can interact with and affect it in some way. (L) That’s a certain level of knowledge.
(Perceval) With the whole Jesus thing, just look at Lourdes. There are people who actually have been cured by their own belief. So, there is an actual power behind that. Even if it’s false! (L) The individual seeking the exorcism obviously is Catholic, or some part of them has this belief. That creates this force. (Pierre) And the priest has devoted his life to Catholicism, so he has this strong faith. And it’s off in terms of historical factors, but there is nonetheless this higher power… (L) And the C’s said there were higher-density beings that are able to give this power or help people when they are called on. […]
(Chu) I think there might be a third factor, too. The priests know they’re taking a risk for somebody else. That courage or bravery is also part of BEing. So, the entity could see they’re believing a lie, but Holy Moses! They’re even willing to open themselves up and fight against it. (L) That’s a possibility too. Still, in that book there were several cases that were just really scary. I think Scottie’s analysis at the end of that poor guy who was dying, and what was it you said? He knew about evil or something?
(Scottie) He wouldn’t tell Martin what the deal was until right before he died. He said he had gone through his life and he was just serving Jesus, and blah blah blah, but he had never considered the idea of hating, or really despairing, or rejecting Jesus. He knew of evil, but he didn’t know evil directly. Once he did, it forced him to actually say to himself, “Well, what if Jesus isn’t the end-all and be-all?” (L) Or what if there is another side to it all, and the universe is more complex than we can imagine? (Scottie) It literally tortured him for the rest of his life.
(Perceval) So, a direct experience of the supposed reality proposed by the Catholic church actually led this guy to question his faith in the church itself! Everyone just believes the ideas and myths and the teachings, but they have no experience of it. Good, evil, the devil, Satan… But nobody has any direct experience of it. Once they have direct experience of that stuff you’re supposed to guard against, and it shakes their faith.
(L) It shakes your faith in reality because you realize that there is the existence of this “something”, and apparently it has its right to exist. It’s one thing to hear stories about Adam and Eve and the serpent coming along and tempting, and then all of these later stories about demons and all that kind of stuff. But when you come to the realization that it’s really, really real… That it exists, it has an effect, and in a sense it has its place in all of existence, and that it has its own right to exist… Then you realize that the story about god being all good, that’s what fails. You can still think of something that’s omniscient and omnipotent, but it’s no longer all good. That’s when you realize that you have this choice. And that choice is just horrifying to people.
(Pierre) And the universe is about balance. If you have powerful good entities, then you have powerful evil entities. (Perceval) I think like you’re saying there, it might actually make people question whether or not God actually cares in the way it’s presented. (L) Yeah, and these are things I talk about in The Wave. (Perceval) It makes you think. It makes a former blind believer think in real terms, and you come up with difficult questions and not many answers.

A: 4D STS are required to declare themselves in some way. [The sign in question was an apport.]
Q: (Joe) Is that why in exorcisms the priest demands to know the name of the demon?
A: Yes.
Q: (Joe) They don’t like declaring themselves. They’re required to, like it’s some kind of law?
A: Yes.
Even though he is skeptical of the Catholic form of exorcism, Eno writes this of his exorcist mentor: “[Fr. Lawrence] subscribed to the very ancient belief that knowing someone’s true name gives you power over them, and I think there’s something to that, as far as it goes.” Eno also has positive things to say about holy water (concentrated on and imbued with faith and love) and prayer (“a state of being”). The most effective method is simply to cut off the food supply by adopting a positive mental attitude, what he calls the “Peter Pan method.”
